£80,000 - £90,000 & travel and package
Amida are working with one of the most established and high profile Unitised Façade Contractors who have projects all over the world to appoint x2 Senior Site Managers / Installation Managers to join their team in London.
These projects will range in value from £15 million hrough to £70 million, depending upon your skills and experience. It is essential that the correct candidates have a wealth of knowledge and on site experience overseeing the physical installation of a variety of façade systems.
Day-to-day operations
Providing administrative assistance to the Project Manager, on a day-to-day basis
Expediting orders, to ensure compliance with the required delivery dates
Liaising with the Project Manager, to ensure timely delivery of materials
Compiling RAMS/QITP in a timely manner for approval by the Project Manager and submission online
Keeping records and updating files with all QA documents per project
Regular interrogation of the client's online Project Control System, such as Conject/BIW etc., updating and relaying new items to site and the Project Manager (training will be given)
Regular interrogation of the Clients Project Snag control system
Principal responsibilities
To ensure high levels of health, safety, quality and environmental control are maintained and to keep accurate and up to date records of the same
Regularly attend site to carryout site inspections of works done and to record
To ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental issues within each project
To identify and manage the risks associated with each project
To maintain excellent working relationships with all relevant parties
Work to continuously improve standards of performance
Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects (when required)
Monitor and report on progress against the contract programme (when required)
Engage with clients in building strong relationships
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
Construction industry experience within the fenestration sector
Refurbishment and new build experience
CSCS skilled worker card or above
SMSTS qualified
CWCT trained
Conversant with major fenestration systems, such as Schuco, Kawneer, etc.
Ability to work on own initiative
Experience and knowledge of the industry sector standards and regulations etc.Experience/requirements
Excellent project delivery skills
Experience of managing the financial aspects of a project
Ability to lead/work in multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to articulate current issues specific to the project
Computer literate and thoroughly conversant with MS Office suite
Proven experience in managing the integration of a programme of work
Previous sector experience and knowledge of sector standardsSpecialist skills/attributes
Methodical and highly organised
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
Accountable for own actions
Able to make sound commercial and considered decisions
