Senior Test & Development Engineer
TTP | Cambridge | Full-time | apply.workable.com |
Cellular Origins
Cell therapies have been shown to cure devasting and previously untreatable diseases like cancer by re-programming the patient's own immune system. Giving more patients access to these life-saving therapies requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation.
Cellular Origins, a TTP Company, is focused on enabling scalable, cost-effective and efficient manufacture of cell and gene therapies. Our technology addresses the challenges associated with manufacturing at scale with an elegant solution for automated sterile fluidic interconnection that reduces cost and labour, eliminates human error, and increases efficiency.
Do you want to join the mission? We're rapidly growing the team and are looking for Senior Test and Development Engineers.
Senior Test & Development Engineer
This is a great opportunity to join our Product Delivery team and play a key role in shaping the future of the Cellular Origins’ Constellation system. Working together with the wider multi-disciplinary product team of engineers and scientists, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our vision to life through development and rigorous testing.
Your mission? To steer the development towards a reliable and robust system offering through the creation of bespoke test environments and day-to-day hands-on testing and experimental work on the product. You’ll be involved with electro-mechanical device assembly and testing of components and systems, and later transfer to manufacture.
Delving into reliability testing you’ll ensure Constellation withstands the rigors of real-world application, fortifying the robustness and longevity of our technology. Lastly, you’ll also play a coordinating role in the manufacturing of our systems, ensuring the quality of the systems will always align with the developmental stage's standards.
Joining our fast-growing startup, you’ll be opening doors to more than your day-to-day. Collaborating across the teams, you'll play a vital role in driving the ongoing development of our technology.
This is somewhere to really make your mark, working in a technically challenging and impact-driven venture, with bright and committed peers, to define the future of cell therapy manufacturing.
Requirements
• BSc Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or a related discipline with industry experience
• Proven experience of testing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, preferably within a product development and/or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of reliability testing methodologies, with the ability to design and execute test plans to ensure product quality and performance
• Robust technical analysis and documentation skills including generating Test Specifications, Test Protocols and Test Reports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with appropriate software tools for developing test scripts, processing log files and database contents
• Experience in an Agile environment would be an advantage but not essential
The above list outlines our ideal candidate, but we know some of you may not apply unless you qualify for all requirements. We believe in the power and importance of diversity, both for our community and the success of our business, so please apply if you meet most of our listed capabilities.
