Rebellion North are looking for a Senior Build Engineer to work on Rebellion games as well as trusted industry partners on genre-defining AAA IPs. You will have the opportunity to join an ambitious team working on multiple projects using different engines including Unreal 5.

The Opportunity

The Senior Build Engineer is an exciting new role within the Rebellion North team. This role will be dedicated to working on Rebellion games and with trusted industry partners on genre-defining IPs. You will be someone who lives and breathes code and automation, who is a creative thinker, and who enjoys the challenge of providing solid solutions to complex problems.
The successful candidate will help maintain and improve our internal build, test, and asset processing systems.

Our preference is for candidates to work together at our Wakefield site but hybrid candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities
 •  Extend build and test systems for new platforms.
 •  Improve developers' workflows.
 •  Be proactive in critical production issues and mitigation strategies.
 •  Diagnose and fix errors that occur in continuous integration builds.
 •  Write robust programs to make disparate systems work together seamlessly.

Requirements
 •  A passion to develop, maintain and further our build systems and tools to improve the quality and ease for our game teams.
 •  Programming knowledge and experience in scripting languages.
 •  Professional experience with source control technologies such as Perforce.
 •  Basic networking knowledge.
 •  Experience with data management and collection.
 •  Experience with presentation of complex data through a web interface.
 •  Interest in Linux-based systems.
