Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position of Testing Coordinator.
Our client is one of Britain’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. Their unique feature is the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.
Operating from a (Apply online only)ft2 facility in Sheffield, they manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine.
Main Purpose of the Role
• You will be reporting to the Test House Manager and responsible for material control throughout the testing process.
• Co-ordinating the flow of all testing work and working to a variety of testing specifications.
• You will produce testing instructions and purchase orders and review all Test Reports against these, highlighting non-conforming test results.
Skills and Experience
• An Understanding of mechanical/metallurgical testing is desirable.
• Confident on computer systems such as Microsoft packages
• An understanding of ISO/IEC17025 would be beneficial.
• Experience in creating and reviewing of certificates of conformity would be beneficial.
• Attention to detail.
