Location: Plymouth, United Kingdom
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

Role Overview: As a Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of civil engineering projects from inception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a reputable company and make a significant impact in the field of civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Manage all aspects of site operations, including planning, organizing, and coordinating resources to ensure project delivery according to schedule and budget.
 •  Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
 •  Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to communicate project progress, address issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
 •  Implement and enforce quality control procedures to uphold the company's reputation for excellence in construction.
 •  Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
 •  Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize project disruptions and delays.
 •  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
 •  Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project team.

Requirements:

 •  Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering sector, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
 •  CSCS card required; SMSTS and First Aid certifications are essential.
 •  Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
 •  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 •  Sound technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on road infrastructure, drainage, flood prevention, and groundworks.
 •  Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
 •  Degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related field is desirable but not essential.
