Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to identify and address technical issues promptly.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to analyse and resolve faults in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine settings, and repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery efficiency and production processes.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Requirements:
• Apprenticeship qualified or holds an engineering-based NVQ
• Minimum ONC or BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Ability to work effectively on a rotating 3 on / 3 off shift pattern (Days and Nights).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
• Apprenticeship qualified or holds an engineering-based NVQ or equivalent.
• Minimum ONC or BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
