✨ Join a leading player in the Food Industry as a Warehouse Operative and be a vital part of their dynamic and innovative team.
• Location: Huntingdon
• Shift: 6am-6pm - 4 on 4 off rota
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Salary: From £23,646.20 to £26,266.20 per year
• Driving Required: Yes
• What you'll be doing:
• Complete all Warehouse & Logistics duties safely and effectively, following company procedures and policies.
• Work as part of a highly effective team, paying attention to detail and following simple instructions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement culture in the factory by using your previous warehouse and/or logistics experience.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, prioritising the well-being of yourself and others.
• Adhere to training, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) standards and clean-as-you-go policy.
• Conduct checks on mechanical handling equipment (MHE) to ensure safe operation.
• Embrace job rotation and a positive attitude towards training for enhanced customer service.
• Perform any other requested tasks within your ability or for which you have been trained.
• What we're looking for:
• Strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Proven experience as part of a highly effective team.
• Previous warehouse experience in a cold storage environment.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
