An exciting and well supported opportunity for an enthusiastic Practitioner psychologist (Clinical or Counselling psychologist), HCPC registered (or on their way to registration ) to join our small psychology team and a very friendly MDT in Crewe, East Cheshire.
Our psychology provision is unfortunately limited at present, but we are very keen to expand and develop, meeting Community Transformation agenda ambitions and to make psychological interventions widely available to a greater majority of the service users under the care of the CMHT.

Applications welcomed from candidates applying for the Band 8A position but we also welcome applications from newly qualified practitioner psychologists who wish to pursue a robust developmental pathway to an 8a position (usually achieved 2 years post qualification )

For the qualified 8A candidate supervision training is essential.

The successful candidate will be provided with professional and clinical supervision frameworks and multiple opportunities to develop their specialist clinical (including developing/ enhancing therapeutic modalities) and professional skills through a well-resourced CPD structure.
Commitment to ethical and trauma informed practice and a positive approach to recovery are essential.

As a trust we promote working collaboratively and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and agencies. Essential responsibility will be to embed a psychologically informed model of practice within the service and in collaboration with other agencies.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to junior psychology /therapy colleagues, assistant psychologists, and trainee psychologists.
