Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a High Voltage Engineer to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area
For the successful High Voltage Engineer our client is offering:
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
Day shifts
Permanent role
Pension with up to 8% contribution from the client
25 days holiday + Bank holidays
Company car or car allowance
Accommodation provided
Based on-site full-time
The Role - High Voltage Engineer:
Manage the design of the HV system and act as project manager for the cable installations
To manage the HV designer and subcontractor design activities and deliverables to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme and Project requirements.
To be the technical lead for the HV works on the project
To manage the MEP designer and subcontractor design activities and deliverables to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme and Project requirements.
Liaise with the Designer or representative as required under the contract.
Work with the Project Team to produce, maintain and manage the project-integrated management plan and all associated documentation
What our client is looking for in a High Voltage Engineer:
Previous National Grid-related project experience preferably on 400kV and 132 kV circuits - ESSENTIAL
10+ years experience with high voltage projects
Will have both substantial civils/construction and design experience - ESSENTIAL
Hold a current UK Driving Licence
Exceptional know-how in implementing and promoting Digital Engineering practices in Design as well as construction
Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ONC diploma or degree, extensive relevant experience - ESSENTIAL
