The Client

My client a specialist in Hydrographic, Land, and Engineering Surveys company established in 2016 they deliver precise and accurate dimensional data of both constructed and natural surroundings, utilising state-of-the-art equipment and advanced techniques.

Our client is a multidisciplinary survey company with expertise in various surveys, including Topographical, Boundary, Hydrographic, Dimensional Control Surveys, and Marine Vessel scanning, both in the UK and internationally.

Our client is seeking Geomatics Survey Manager to join their team based at their Hampshire offices.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Land Surveying role, who is dedicated and driven to reach their potential in the surveying profession. This role entails managing and developing a small team of surveyors, conducting Topographical and Measured Building Surveys, from initial site work to final CAD output, across sites in Hampshire, Wiltshire, and beyond.

Responsibilities
 •  Ensuring projects are completed within specified timelines and budget constraints and maintaining project milestones.
 •  Advising the land surveying team and contributing to company land survey strategies for current and future projects.
 •  Reporting any potential financial issues related to clients or project overruns promptly.
 •  Ensuring quality assurance for projects within the Land Survey department.
 •  Handling project administration, client liaison, and resource allocation.
 •  Planning and leading complex fieldwork projects.
 •  Allocating projects to the survey team with clear briefs, deadlines, and budgets.
 •  Maintaining and updating project and resource tracking using project management software (ASANA).
 •  Reporting any land survey risks to directors and suggesting mitigation strategies.

Requirements
 •  Proficiency in using total stations and GPS rovers.
 •  Experience with AutoCAD/BricsCAD for producing survey deliverables.
 •  Local residency or willingness to commute to their Hampshire office.
 •  Full UK driving licence.
 •  Dedication to delivering high-quality survey work and customer service.
 •  Effective communication skills.
