Engineering Technician
Up to £19.61ph + enhancements for Saturday/Sunday

Shifts Days and Afternoons - Across Monday to Sunday 5:30am to 1:30pm & 1pm to 9pm
Engineering Technician / Technician / Engineer / Engineering / Transport / Nottingham
The recruitment group are priding ourselves on working alongside one of the top 5 Companies to work for in Nottingham, They are looking for an engineering technician to work on their modern fleet of buses.
Main duties and responsibilities of an Engineering Technician:
• To maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• To carry out repairs as necessary on a modern fleet of buses and company vehicles, to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out any reasonable maintenance activities within their capability and training, whilst subject to good working practices being achieved and health and safety standards being met.
• Have both electrical and mechanical knowledge in the HGV / PCV repair industry
• To meet the demands of our varying workloads and is prepared to acquire ongoing vehicle type training
Experience/knowledge requirements for an Engineering Technician:
• A car and PCV driving licence
• Experience of Cummins and Scania drivetrain and electrical systems
• Experience of modern CAN bus electrical systems and OEM diagnostic systems
• At least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV or HGV workshop
• Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ 3) in heavy vehicle repair (truck or bus)
