Resistant Materials/Design Technology Teacher
Contract: Full-time
Location: Boston
Start Date: May half term or September 2024
Pay Rate: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (TLR available)
Are you an experienced Resistant Materials/Design Technology Teacher seeking a new challenge? GSL Education Lincolnshire has an exciting opportunity in Boston. This full-time position is available from May half term or September 2024.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Resistant Materials/Design Technology lessons, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive learning environments.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the departmental curriculum, resources, and assessment practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school-wide events.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject-specific qualifications.
• Proven experience teaching Resistant Materials/Design Technology at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
