The Property team at Advinia Health Care are looking for a Regional Gardener to deliver a full range of grounds maintenance across 13 Care Home sites in Scotland.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
General maintenance of grounds e.g. Grass cutting, clearing of debris, leaves, planting of flower beds, hedge and shrub trimming.
Chemical and hand-weed control.
Ensuring that all areas are left in a clean and tidy state.
Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, timesheets, materials and equipment.
Maintenance of machinery and reporting equipment defects.
Use of appropriate tools and equipment including the operation of petrol-powered gardening equipment and ride on machinery.
Sweeping of hard surfaces and litter picking of soft surfaces.
Reporting to the property team of any needed projects and programmes in all garden areas.
Skills Required
Good communication skills.
Resilience under pressure.
Ability to work to flexible schedules.
Ability to work on their own.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
Full Driving Licence (essential).
Own transport (essential)
Experience in grounds maintenance.
Work Location: On site across Scotland.
