• Flexible About the Trust:West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides acute hospital-based and specialist healthcare services to around half a million people living in Hertfordshire, north London and further afield.
The Trust was the first hospital in Europe to treat patients with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, a type of ventilator that helps patients to breathe more naturally and recover more quickly.
Hertfordshire has the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services across the main towns (Hemel Hempstead, St.
Albans and Watford).
What you'll be responsible for: Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
Undertake regular mandatory training.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
