Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: West Midlands
Join a pioneering team at a leading company based in West Midlands, UK, specialising in organo-sulphur synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation for a global clientele. With expertise ranging from custom synthesis to process optimisation, they cater to diverse industries including Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, and Speciality Chemicals.
We're currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our clients Electrical Department. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a highly skilled Electrical Engineering team within a lower tier COMAH facility.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in electrical preventative and reactive maintenance in industrial environments
Proficiency in electrical plant installation and modification within industrial settings
Knowledge of statutory inspections
Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and other technical information
Adherence to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems
Ideally, a good understanding of ATEX requirements.
Qualifications/Training:
Minimum RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline
Ideally, completion of a recognized Electrical apprenticeship
Ideally, certification in the 18th edition electrical wiring regulations
Preferably, Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification, although not essential
Ideally trained in MEWP’s.
