An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join our client's well-established team in Lincoln.

Purpose of the Solicitor role:

Working within the legal team, the main purpose of this role is to provide key advice in relation to day-to-day project challenges and commercial contract documentation to the key stakeholders.

Solicitor duties Responsibilities:

 •  Providing advice on compliance and project matters
 •  Provide support to the head of legal and external advisors in relation to pre-action matters
 •  Provide high-level/detailed reviews of tender documentation to highlight various legal risks and opportunities
 •  Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a variety of contracts (with values ranging from £250,000 to £(phone number removed)
 •  Provide advice on key documentation including contracts, schedules of amendments, collateral warranties, and consultant/professional appointments
 •  Assisting with contentious matters, debt recovery, and adjudications where necessary

The Perfect Solicitor Will Have the Following Requirements:

 •  Able to work autonomously as required, and have the ability to deliver at pace and prioritise workload according to the demands of the business
 •  Be a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx Lawyer
 •  Knowledge of construction frameworks
 •  Experience of managing people
 •  Able to analyse and advise upon risk to influence and guide the group
