People who have a manufacturing/mechanical engineering background, and some knowledge of welding processes. The role can at times be quite physical so applicants should be physically fit.
Necessary experience:
• Manufacturing/mechanical engineering background
• Some knowledge of welding processes
About the role

Hours:
7. 30-4.30 Mon-Thurs and
7. 3 Friday
Salary: £35,000 p.a.

The role will involve:
• Performing independent visual, dimensional, inspection of component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assemblies

• Instigation of non-conforming issues (customer and supplier) including investigation to identify root cause, liaising with all departments, providing corrective and preventive actions, following the established in-house Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process

• Establish best practice and develop new inspection techniques as required
• Ensuring that the company quality procedures are followed and reviewed accordingly with the quality manager / representative
