Are you a Qualified Plumber looking for a change of career to move into an Assessing role where you will inspire and coach the next generation of Plumbing Apprentices?
Are you looking for a rewarding position where you can move away from the tools and improve your work life balance?
This vocational college is renowned for their emphasis on work-based learning, where driven and motivated students gain vital qualifications and experience to move into successful careers in their respective industries. The department is undergoing an exciting period of growth, with an influx of students looking to train in their newly built facilities and large investments being made in equipment.
In this role you will train and assess Plumbing Apprentices in line with set criteria, supporting them through their apprenticeship programmes and monitoring their progression.
The ideal candidate will either have an Assessor qualification or desire to obtain one and will have a strong background in Plumbing, with a level 3 qualification as well as a Gas Safe qualification.
This is a brilliant role for a qualified plumber to move into a role where you will benefit from a better work life balance, receive excellent training and make a real difference to young people's lives.
The role:
• Training, Assessing and Monitoring Level 2 and 3 Plumbing Apprentices.
• Monday to Friday
• 37 hours per week.
• Based in Epsom.
The Person:
• Have knowledge and experience of the Plumbing industry.
• A Qualified Plumber to a recognised qualification at Level 3 and a Gas Safe Qualification.
• Have an Assessor Award qualification or equivalent (or desire to obtain).
• Live a commutable distance from Epsom.
• Have great communication skills and enthusiasm.
