About the Client:
My client is a Bluechip Civil Engineering Contractor who operate nationally as an integrated highways service provider. Working with a variety of both local authority and private sector clients, they utilise the expertise of their dedicated staff to maintain and improve British highways.
Role:
They are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their existing Highways team in their Berkshire Project Office.
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor the role will involve duties on 5 year Highways Framework Contract involving routine and responsive highway works, along with high value improvement works that include; carriageway surfacing, drainage, footway construction, micro asphalting and bridge maintenance.
Successful candidates will be degree qualified and possess a minimum of 3 years experience with a Main Contractor and either come from a Highways or general Civil Engineering background.
The role will suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 4 years experience who is looking for a step up.
Candidates will be familiar with NEC3 forms of contract.
Previous experience on Highways projects would be an advantage.
Qualifications include:
• Surveying Degree.
• Previous Highways experience.
