As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of providing essential support to students who need it the most. With a focus on behavioural, social, and mental health difficulties, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of these young learners.

Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to learners with challenging social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs, ensuring their well-being and access to learning.
Monitor learners’ progress, achievements, and any challenges, providing timely feedback and reporting to teachers as necessary.
Assist in preparing classrooms for lessons and assisting with displays to enhance learning environments.
Provide guidance to learners in utilising basic ICT tools and resources as directed by teachers.
Provide administrative support, including photocopying, typing, and filing to ensure smooth operation of the classroom.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with learners who have behavioural, social, and mental health difficulties is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
NQT Level 2 Teaching Assistant or completion of an appropriate Teaching Assistant training assessment programme is desirable.
Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging educational environment.
General good standard of education (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
