Automotive Program Manager: Lead Exciting Global Projects

Arden White is seeking an experienced Automotive Program Manager to lead dynamic teams across multiple projects for our esteemed global automotive client.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

 •  Crafting precise quotes for prototype and production processes, setting the stage for success.
 •  Leading team feasibility commitments and risk assessments, ensuring smooth project execution.
 •  Managing program budgets and timelines with precision and efficiency.
 •  Providing ongoing design input to ensure manufacturing feasibility and meet customer requirements.
 •  Conducting new program testing, both internally and externally, to guarantee quality.
 •  Overseeing the kick-off and approval of new or modified tooling and gauges, ensuring excellence in execution.
 •  Participating in sourcing and negotiations of assembly and tooling contracts, ensuring optimal terms.
 •  Coordinating the approval of tooling and line equipment for seamless payment processes.
 •  Arranging and authorizing packaging development to enhance product presentation.
 •  Conducting program milestone reviews and ensuring process sign-off.
 •  Interface with the Quality Department to oversee PPAP preparation and ensure compliance.
 •  Initiating and coordinating all new program releases and engineering changes for continuous improvement.
 •  Implementing containment measures for new processes and parts, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
 •  Completing production Layer Process Audits to guarantee operational excellence.
 •  Utilizing DFMEA, PMFEA, DVP&R, FEA, and other processes to ensure robust design review.
 •  Actively driving Value Added/Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities and cost-saving initiatives.
 •  Ensuring accountabilities for all deliverables, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.

Requirements for Consideration:

 •  Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent experience/background.
 •  Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive manufacturing programme management.
 •  Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and Standards, with GD&T knowledge preferred.
 •  Understanding of IATF16949 standards.
