Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to source and recruit a Regional Account Manager.

The company is a well established company who provide products to a wide range of industries and are experiencing an exciting period of growth including international expansion.

You will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities within an assigned geographical area. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strategies that will help to meet agreed company objectives and to evaluate customer research, market conditions and will develop a business development plan to implement.

Key Responsibilities
 •  Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales/growth goals and profitability.
 •  Interface with current and prospective customers and carry out regular customer meetings/presentations/lunches with a view to presenting products and services. This will also be conducted remotely
 •  Monitor quotes for new and existing business.
 •  Facilitate customer retention from the existing account base through cross-selling and up-selling.
 •  Effective liaison with and support for other departments within the company regarding the customer base.
 •  Achievement of departmental sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
 •  Document existing and new processes within the team.
 •  Manage projects as directed by the Operations Manager
 •  Submit monthly development reports focused on market opportunities
 •  Maintain CRM & Opportunity Pipeline
 •  Effectively present, promote and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
 •  Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution, escalating promptly any issues beyond standard resolution.
 •  Look for opportunities to maximise sales by negotiating with suppliers/manufacturers to facilitate improved terms.
 •  Maintain CRM & Opportunity Pipeline

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and will be an enthusiastic and driven individual. Candidates will have a track record in business development, have a hunter mindset and electrical knowledge would be beneficial but our client is open to other industries.
This role will require travel both locally and overseas so applicants must be willing to travel.
