Position Profile:

Brief Description:

This is a key role in the achievement of Jazz business objectives for the Global Pharmaceutical Development (GPD) Operational Support Team. This role will execute and support a broad range of business processes (e.g., Budget, Procurement) and administration in support of operating targets and objectives of the group.
The role will report to the Director, Operations, GPD.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
 •  Support administrative activities for GPD group.
 •  Organise and facilitate departmental and non-project team meetings within GPD, as required.
 •  Manage calendars for Head of Biologics Development and Vice President of GPD.
 •  Manage GPD procurement requests and legal review by working closely with the procurement and legal teams to ensure work can be executed within project timelines.
 •  Support the maintenance of Pharmaceutical Development project budgets. Support tracking and performance against the project budgets in conjunction with the project managers and CMC Leads.
 •  Collaborate with Finance and project management department in cost reporting and expediting finance related issues, e.g., invoice payments, R&D tax credits, FCST’s (budget forecasting).
 •  Work with CMC team members and project management to submit accruals for supported CMC projects.
 •  Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 •  Confident, capable, highly flexible person, who works well in a team environment and has the necessary skills to organize, communicate, influence when required.
 •  Proven capability in establishing collaborative working relationships at all levels, incl. stakeholders and business partners, regardless of seniority.
 •  Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues across different timezones.
 •  Recognize areas for improvement and use initiative to implement change programs in support of progress.
 •  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to deliver objectives on time.
 •  Willingness to perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, including budgetary tasks and general meeting administration.
 •  Experience in business operating environment will be preferred.
 •  Strong IT skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Experience in SAP, Coupa/S2P is advantageous.
 •  Experience in financial processes such as budgeting/forecasting/accruals is required. Experience in Business Analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI) is advantageous.
 •  Experience in the concepts and application of continuous improvement/Operational Excellence is desirable.

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
 •  Bachelor’s degree / diploma in a business-related discipline preferred.
 •  Good general knowledge of business operations either from degree level education and/or job experience
