This is a field-based role and we’re looking for candidates based with a 10-mile radius of Bristol.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Heating Engineer to join our field-based team. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of Air Source Heating installations into our customer’s homes. Through high standards of quality, safe working practice and exemplary workmanship, you’ll ensure that we deliver an installation compliant with industry and regulatory standards.
 •  Leading as a heating installations expert, delivering and demonstrating quality technical expertise to install Good Energy Works products, namely air source heat pumps initially
 •  In collaboration with the electrical engineers, ensuring customers heating systems are installed safely, on time and to a high standard of workmanship
 •  Delivering high SHE standards to keep yourself, our customers and colleagues safe
 •  Continually developing yourself technically and maintaining your industry and onsite knowledge to keep health, safety and compliance at the top of your priorities
 •  Innovate to achieve best practice, sharing proactively within the team
 •  Demonstrate continuous improvement in safety, efficiency and quality
 •  Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with other igloo teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
 •  Be flexible and open to change in a fast paced and evolving business
 •  Be a proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude and a clear desire to do what’s best and what’s right for the customer and the business
What you'll need to succeed

Essentials:
 •  NVQ level 3 or similar in plumbing, heating or engineering
 •  Unvented hot water systems
 •  Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1)
 •  Experience of introducing policies, process and procedures with an approach that encourages empowerment and responsibility
 •  Broad health and safety experience
 •  A current full UK driving license

Desirables:
 •  Oil experience
 •  LPG experience
 •  Renewables experience
 •  Water regulations
 •  Energy efficiency
 •  Experience and understanding of MCS Regulations
 •  Domestic Heat pump level 3 in installation and maintenance
