Your new role
This is a great opportunity in which you will have the opportunity to work in across sectors including infrastructure, renewables, mining, mixed-use schemes, residential, commercial, education and many more. Primarily working into Environmental Noise & vibration, though Architectural acoustics is also a service they provide.
The successful candidate will be given the chance to work with experts within the acoustics sector; you will be given full in-house & external training, a competitive salary, various development opportunities, remote working and other flexible benefits.
Daily duties will include:
• Undertake acoustic surveys, and other site visits.
• Provide acoustic design advice.
• Technical report writing.
• Assist in business development duties.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and engineers throughout projects.
• Prepare fee proposals and project budgets.
What you'll need to succeed
• You'll have attained an Honours or Masters in Acoustical Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
• Demonstrable experience working for a UK consultancy is ideal but not essential.
• Hold a full UK driving license, ideally a vehicle.
• Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) is favourable.
• Can do, proactive attitude
• Good communication skills as you will be client facing.
• Willingness to travel to site regularly across the UK.
