Estimator- Construction Commercial New build & Refurbishment
Salary: £30,000 - £55,000
Position: Full Time / Permanent

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM
Experience: 3 years Estimator
Work Location: In-person

Duties:
• Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotes and proposals
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Create detailed take-offs and quantity surveys
• Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
