We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst works as a liaison amongst client stakeholders and the business to elicit, analyse, own, communicate and validate requirements for projects. As we maintain our desktop software and concurrently migrate to web-based SaaS offerings, the business analyst uses their significant experience of working in digital products and projects to ensure we successfully meet our customers’ needs across the entire product range.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a hybrid working model with 2 days per week working from our offices, and 3 days per week spent working from home. Our offices are based in Oldham (Manchester) and Bromsgrove (Worcestershire) and are happy for teams to work from which ever location is easiest.
We are open to discussions regarding salary, dependent on previous experience.

Responsibilities
 •  Communication with stakeholders, end-users, product owners, developers and QA
 •  Gathering and owning requirements through the entire product lifecycle, including change management, risk analysis, documentation and impact studies.
 •  Requirement formalisation (separation of business, user, functional and non-functional requirements as well as business rules, assumptions, and limitations)
 •  Working with QA and product owners to validate releases against requirements
 •  Process mapping and design, including business architecture
 •  Writing and owning functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
 •  Working on multiple projects simultaneously with multiple teams in an agile environment
 •  Proactive in seeking to improve data insights and simplify workflows and processes

Requirements
 •  An effective communicator, capable and confident in engaging at all levels internally and with key stakeholders externally
 •  Someone not afraid to ask questions
 •  Must be an experienced user of MS Office/365, particularly in Excel
 •  Must be analytical, logical and a critical thinker
 •  At least 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within a software house
 •  Client-facing experience
