ROLE
• Team Involvement to Prepare and Coordinate Daily Activities in the QC Laboratory as Relates to Analysis of Samples
• Maintain Safety Records and Material Safety Data Sheets
• Maintain Good Hygiene and Housekeeping
• Effective Communication with Other Departments
• Check and Report on Analytical Results
• Investigate Failures and Undertake Corrective Action
• Product Release Testing
• Analytical Method Development/Transfer, Validation and Report Writing
• Conduct Trouble-Shooting Investigations
• Input to the Authorship of SOP’s
• Ability to Assume Responsibility for Day-to-Day Running of the Laboratory
• Opportunities for Involvement in Different Internal Projects
REQUIRED
• Minimum Science Based A-Levels to a Satisfactory Grade with HND or Degree Qualifications Preferred
• Experienced in HPLC Analysis and Methodology, LC-MS, UPC2 or ICP Experience Beneficial
• Minimum of 2-3 Years Quality Control or Research and Development Laboratory Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical or Food Industry
• Experience in Method Development/Transfer and Validation Beneficial
