Nurse Associate
The post holder will work under indirect supervision of the practice nurse team leader (or in partnership with practice nurses, assistant practitioners or GPs) to deliver routine clinical and non-clinical duties including patient treatment and care.
Treatment and care interventions undertaken by the post holder will be delegated by a registered practitioner. The post holder is responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long term condition, and the provision of preventative health care to the practice population.
They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures. Please see attached job description for further information.
