What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
 •  Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
 •  Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
 •  Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
 •  Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.
 •  Using digital records to chart peoples progress on a daily basis, so everyone involved in their support can see how well they are doing and any important changes.

We are currently looking for 2x Female Support Worker (Drivers preferred) 2 x 20 hours - for one of established services in Bradford – Shifts and Hours to be discussed further at interview but these will include sleep in shifts.
We currently support four gentlemen of various ages with various health needs. They all have very colourful personalities! They have various hobbies such as flying kites, pottery making, painting, horse riding, going to see Bradford Bulls, cinema and away days to the coast, theatre and holidays away.
