Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced, motivated and resilient Behavioural Mentors to support students in our Secondary schools across Wigan.
The school is for students in Keys Stages 3 and 4 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying SEMH.
The position is open to all experienced those you have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Wigan
Position - Behavior Mentor
Type of work - Classroom support
Contract or position start date - September 2024
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - On-going
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) To be considered for this role, you will have to register with Prospero Teaching and complete a Child & Adult DBS which is on the update service, unless you already have one.
