Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Psychologist 2 to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist 2, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental well-being and academic success of our students. You will be responsible for assessing, identifying, and providing intervention strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
A successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication and assessment skills, a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, and a passion for helping students thrive in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify and diagnose learning disabilities, developmental delays, and emotional/behavioral disorders
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' unique needs

Provide counseling and intervention services to students to support social-emotional well-being and academic success

Consult with educators on effective instructional strategies and accommodations for students with special educational needs
Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations for improving classroom management and instructional practices
Facilitate workshops and professional development sessions for educators and parents on relevant topics related to child development and learning
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of educational psychology
Requirements
Master's or doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related field
Valid license or certification as an Educational Psychologist
At least [5] years of experience working as an Educational Psychologist in a school or educational setting
Proven experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for students with diverse learning needs
Proficiency in using assessment tools and software
Strong organizational and time management skills

Hours Per Week: 36.00

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Day: £401.28
Location: Waltham Forest, East London
