Are you an experienced SEN Teacher or a primary teacher with a passion for teaching children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an SEN Teacher at our vibrant school in Outer London.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of students with SEND. Working closely with our SENCO and support staff, you will create and deliver tailored lessons and interventions to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or a primary teacher looking to transition into special education, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons and activities to support students with a range of special educational needs.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students in their learning.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents/carers, and other stakeholders.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged.

Participate in the wider life of the school community, including attending meetings, training sessions, and school events.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching children with SEND, either as an SEN Teacher or through relevant primary teaching experience
Sound knowledge of SEND legislation, strategies, and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs
