This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established, thriving business. My client are looking to recruit an experienced people manager with a strong technical aptitude to run a section of the manufacturing facility. This role will provide you with the opportunity to train and develop in a supportive environment.
This business works with a highly recyclable product and with has a strong customer base made up of international businesses, providing excellent job security.

Role & Responsibilities:

 •  Reporting to the production manager, this role will see you managing a small team of team leaders and technical operators.
 •  Involvement in trials of new products and materials.
 •  Management of tooling and spares.
 •  Organising planned maintenance tasks through PPM and TPM's.
 •  Practices of 5S.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

 •  Time served mechanical apprenticeship
 •  Experience working in a technical role - experience with 5S, tooling, continuous improvement and troubleshooting machinery.
 •  Having experience in an FMCG environment will be beneficial.
 •  Good experience of automated machinery.
