Days Monday to Friday

Our client is a successful and evolving manufacturing business who is looking to recruit a HSE Manager to oversee all Health & Safety and Environmental management systems on the site. This will be a stand alone role so will require the successful candidate to come in with a strong background in Health and Safety with a willingness to learn and take accountability for environmental and quality management systems.

The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for:

 •  Ensure all documentation relating to health and Safety, environmental and quality systems is kept up to date and accurate
 •  Ensure that existing certifications and standards are maintained for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
 •  Work closely with the management team across the business to support and advise in all HSE matters
 •  Ensure existing processes and procedures are implemented whist identifying opportunities for improvement
 •  Ensure all HSEQ matters are communicated in an accessible format across the business
 •  Take responsibility for managing the company audit cycle and report results, ensuring any corrective actions are put in-place where necessary

Skills and Experience:

 •  A strong Health and Safety background will be essential with previous experience in completing H&S audits and management of ISO 45001 standards
 •  Experience in managing Environmental (ISO 14001) systems is advantageous
 •  NEBOSH qualification will be advantageous but not essential
