We are looking for SMART Repair Technician and Polisher to join our client's busy auto body shop based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The job in a nutshell

Salary: £16.00 per hour
Day Shift: 8am - 5pm

Monday to Friday

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Job Duties:

Perform smart repairs on vehicles including paintwork, alloy wheels, and interior trims
Polish vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish (Fresh Paint Polish)
Identify and rectify any imperfections on the vehicle's surface
Use appropriate tools and equipment to achieve desired results
Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in smart repair and polishing within the automotive industry
Knowledge of different paint types and application techniques
Attention to detail and precision in work

Education:

Relevant vocational qualifications in automotive repair or similar field

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in smart repair and polishing

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of vehicle surfaces and materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in paint correction and detailing
Experience with using specialist polishing equipment
