Senior Scientist, Immunology Research - 18 Month FTC

Achilles Therapeutics | England | Full-time | apply.workable.com |
Achilles is a fast paced, trail blazing company. We are breaking new ground with our science creating products that have never been made. As no-one has done what we are doing before, there is no playbook to copy. This means we must innovate, adapt and collaborate across our organisation, working together to solve novel problems.
This entrepreneurial spirit and approach runs through our company and those who thrive here are able to cope with anything that is thrown at them, enjoy ambiguity and thrive on making things happen even when there is not a detailed brief.

The role is part of the Immunology Research team within the Process Development department and will primarily be focused on the development of new generations of T cell therapy products. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and performing experiments related to a particular project and the discovery of novel techniques for manufacturing the next generation of cNeT products.

The role requires a highly motivated, hard-working and driven individual with practical experience in T cell immunology and cell therapy and related techniques in one or more of the following areas: T cell metabolism, T cell signalling and molecular biology (e.g., TCR cloning, expression vectors).

This is a unique opportunity to work with a cross functional team of scientists with world-leading experts in cancer evolution, bioinformatics, biomarker discovery, bioprocess engineering and cancer immunotherapy and to become a key contributor within an interdisciplinary consortium to an exciting project destined to change the course of cell therapies.

The work will be carried out at Achilles Therapeutics in our laboratories at Hammersmith, London.
