Mechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - 12-month CONTRACT - Twickenham, London
VGC Energy, part of VGC Group Ltd are pleased to be recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor with Sewage Treatment Works experience in Twickenham, Greater London.
This role is site based and is initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension following review.
Fulltime hours of 45 per week
£300-£341/day (inside IR35).
Mechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - Responsibilities
To Supervise and manage the operational resources (people, and physical assets) in order to implement the plan for the assigned Sewage Water Treament project safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and the gross profit.
Mechanical Supervisor (Sewage Treatment Works) - Requirements
Supervise Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Cooperate and coordinate with all stakeholders including the client-side, internal and supply chain to ensure the project outcomes are achieved. This would include contributing to the organisation of shut down methodology agreed in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems within the Sewage Treatment Plant.
Monitor and perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mechanical equipment
Engaging with the Supply Chain and support the contractor delivery and commissioning process.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sewage Treatment processes and their related mechanical systems.
Ensure RAMS are followed / review of ITP's and ATEX documentation
Participate in the planning and scheduling of Mechanical maintenance activities
• Preliminary Treatment. Screening and Pumping
• Primary Treatment. Next, the Wastewater enters primary settling tank where the flow of water slows down
• Secondary Treatment. Aeration and Final Settling
• Disinfection
• Sludge Treatment
• Waste-to-Energy
Qualifications
• SSSTS or SMSTS
