About the Role

Our client is seeking a Financial Manager with experience in a similar role to join their growing team in Farnham. You will be responsible for managing the financial operations, ensuring their financial health and optimizing their financial performance.
The ideal candidate would have experience within construction.

As the Financial Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of the company. This would typically involve overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, as well as developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.

The key roles and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

 •  Financial planning and analysis: The Financial Manager is responsible for creating financial plans and forecasts, developing budgets, and analysing financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
 •  Cash flow management: They are responsible for managing the company's cash flow, ensuring that there is sufficient cash on hand to meet financial obligations and fund the company's growth.
 •  Financial reporting: They are responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to management, board members, and other stakeholders, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
 •  Tax and regulatory compliance: They are responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and for filing tax returns and other required financial reports.
 •  Risk management: They are responsible for identifying and mitigating financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
 •  Financial strategy development: They are responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability, including identifying new revenue streams, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing expenses
