We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be employed immediately on a permanent basis for an established manufacturing company in Dover.
You will need your own transportation for this role due to the location of the office.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a small and friendly office environment and who has experience with managing a team that undertake purchase/sales ledger processes.
The key responsibilities include:
Checking purchases orders against invoices.
Posting ledger invoice to the in-house system.
Checking purchase orders against good received notes.
Posting and allocating cash to the ledger.
Allocating invoices on to the system.
Matching and reconciling invoices to payments made.
Preparing payment runs.
Undertaking credit card reconciliations.
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.To be considered for this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3-5+ years purchase ledger experience.
To be proficient with Microsoft programmes (Excel).
Your own form of transport.
Great communication and able to work independently.
Experience managing other Purchase Ledger Clerks is desirable.The Package includes:
Competitive salary.
28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
Workplace Pension.
Free on-site parking.
Please note this position is only suitable for candidates who are already able to live and work in the UK without restriction. No relocations please.
