Responsibilities
Champion engineering NPI activities, collaborating closely with program managers and the NPI coordinator.
Take the lead on new product launches, engineering changes, and optimising tooling and supplier resources.
Oversee ODT & PPAP batch rollouts, ensuring seamless transitions and impeccable quality.
Forge strong partnerships with our Manufacturing Engineering team to streamline NPI processes.
Be the bridge between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring adherence to customer requirements.
Utilise your expertise in DFM methodology to validate and enhance proposed transfer products.
Harness the power of 3D modelling and creative problem-solving to drive cost-efficient tooling solutions.
Drive continuous improvement through the application of Six Sigma methodologies and root cause analysis.
Attributes/Skills Required
Proven problem solver.
Hand- on approach to work.
Ability to provide unwavering support to internal teams.
Great communication, both written and verbal.
Drive to achieve growth and customer satisfaction.
Experience/Education Required
Ideally experience withing the automotive industry
A track record in NPI is essential.
A degree or equivalent in engineering.
Desired skills in tooling and fixtures design.
