Our client in Wrexham is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Machine Operative. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for operating machinery efficiently across various sections of the factory, ensuring high-quality product output and adherence to production schedules.

This role aims to maximise resource utilisation, minimise costs, and support our client commitment to delivering exceptional service and product quality to customers.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
Operate machinery, including extruders, granulators, and pallet wrapping machines, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct quality checks and complete relevant documentation to ensure products meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimise downtime.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Provide flexible support across the factory, including covering for breaks, absences, and in other areas as needed.Key requirements for applicants:
Machine Output: Volume of products manufactured within specified timeframes.
Quality: Compliance with product quality standards and reduction in the number of defects or rejections.
Machine Utilisation: Effective use of machinery, including minimisation of downtime and maximisation of operational efficiency.Qualifications and Experience:
Machine Operator Experience: Proficiency in machine operation is essential, with expertise in extrusion operations highly preferred.
High-Volume Manufacturing: Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with manufacturing processes is required, including a strong understanding of quality control standards.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial, along with the ability to maintain quality standards while performing repetitive tasks.
Manual Dexterity: Excellent manual dexterity is required to operate machinery efficiently and effectively.
