37 Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
This opening assignment is for 4-5 months
City: NEWCASTLE

One full time post based at the Civic Centre. The role will involve processing and updating licence information for Alcohol, Entertainment, Gambling, Temporary Event Notices, Pavement Cafes, Events on Council Land etc. Full training will be given

Two full time posts Based at Walker. These role will involve supporting the current team, inputting licensing applications relating to taxis onto the system, processing licences, working on a busy reception and booking MOT schedule tests. Full training will be given

Qualifications:

3 GCSE's, Grades A-C, or equivalent including English and Mathematics.

Knowledge:

Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Experience:

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent Customer Service Skills, with the ability to resolve complex enquiries
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to support meetings including production of minutes and/or action points.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
