Job Title: Children’s Home Deputy Manager
Location: Luton
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
We are looking to hire a Children’s Home Deputy Manager to provide exceptional care, support, and guidance to children and young people.
Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities
• Assisting the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home
• Ensuring the highest standards of care are provided
• Developing strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies
• Implementing care plans and managing risk assessments
• Promoting a positive culture within the team
Deputy Manager Requirements
• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Children and Young People or equivalent
• Experienced in a supervisory role within children's residential care Knowledgeable about legislation and guidelines for children's homes
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children
• Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings where necessary.
Deputy Manager Benefits
• Salary £38,000 to £40,000 per annum
• Access to funded QCF Diploma qualifications in Residential Childcare
