Assistant Electrical Project Manager required. Our client is a specialist electrical contracting business, with nominations for such awards as electrical contractor of the year, looking for an Assistant Electrical Project Manager in the Hertfordshire area to join the team within the commercial sector.
This role has come around due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will report into the Lead Project Manager, working on a wide range of projects delivering the provision of metered electricity connections to customers who require a new or altered service. They will also assist in delivering tender based projects within the industry, including BNO and sub-mains installations.

Assistant Electrical Project Manager Position Overview
 •  Manage projects within the agreed budgets, objectives, and targets and advise on variations and claims arising from projects, ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled.
 •  Provide technical support to the Project Delivery Team where required in the raising of Section 50 licences, TTRO applications and traffic management planning.
 •  Engaging with sub-contractors/suppliers to obtain quotes for project requirements for approval and engagement.
 •  Supporting the design stage to ensure all drawings are practical for construction.
 •  Support and deploy management of projects, ensuring all projects are adequately resourced including the planning and establishment of activities related to site set-up, management of labour resources, subcontractors, DNO involvement and provision of materials.
 •  Responsible for actively creating and maintaining H&S CDM documents, RAMS, Programmes of Work, Construction Phase plans and O&M Manuals lead by our internal coordination team.
 •  Deliver pre-start meetings and work packs to the field team, advising of all project work plans, programmes, employers' requirements and durations to deliver the project without delays.

Assistant Electrical Project Manager Position Requirements
 •  3+ years experience in the industry with knowledge in the electrical industry both commercially and in a DNO/IDNO environment
 •  Electrically qualified - 18th edition, C&G level 3, 2391, NVQ level 3, AM2 and HNC/HND advantageous. IOSH or NEBOSH also desirable.
 •  Full Driving Licence

Assistant Electrical Project Manager Position Remuneration
 •  Salary: £38,000- £45,000
 •  Working hours: 40 hours a week
 •  Holidays: 23 days + 8BH + Half day on your birthday
 •  Company Recognition Vouchers
 •  Pension
