Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our residential placements. The successful candidate will manage a 1 case load of residents and supervise a team of six staff members, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and adherence to regulatory standards.
Supported by a regional manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our good rating with Ofsted and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential placements, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
Manage a case load of residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
Supervise and support a team of six staff members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor resident progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and support for residents.
Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a managerial role within a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people.Registered Manager qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent).

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience with regulatory inspections.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care to vulnerable individuals.
