BNJ Consultants is an employment company that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temp to perm & permanent basis.
BREAKDOWN FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Products: Bespoke Furniture
• Salary: £11.44 minimum per hour PLUS bonus up to £145 p/week. Pay levels differ depending on skill and aptitude
• Hours: 39 hours per week, 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm Friday. Any hours worked over 39 paid at time and a half
• Immediate Start
• Location: Aberdare, United Kingdom
DUTIES FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Follow operating instructions for the Industrial Sewing Machines: Single needle, twin needle, Heavy duty machines.
• Must have experience on working as a sewing machinist in the textile industry
IDEAL SEWING MACHINIST CANDIDATE:
• Good attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Previous experience in operating Sewing Machines: Overlock & Lockstitch
• Experience on sewing furniture highly preferred
