My client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, specializing in construction, property, and infrastructure. With a rich history spanning decades, They are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Government Buildings, and more.

Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team. As a key member of the team, you will lead the design and development of electrical systems for large commercial and industrial buildings, including both new constructions and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:
 •  Lead and manage the electrical design process for building services projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
 •  Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
 •  Develop innovative design solutions to meet project requirements and objectives.
 •  Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and schedules prepared by the team.
 •  Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
 •  Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor project progress and ensure quality and compliance.

Requirements:
 •  Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
 •  Significant experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
 •  Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartered status is desirable.
 •  Expertise in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design tools.
 •  Thorough knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671), with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
 •  Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
 •  Proactive mindset and ability to drive projects forward, from concept design through to completion.
