Project Manager required. Our client is a global integration and application engineering company that are looking for a Project Manager in Merseyside due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will be supporting a multi-functional team and managing the scheduling of project delivery, change and new business. This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have previous Automotive experience on Body in White automation applications and/or General Assembly.
Project Manager Position Overview
Responsibility for administrating Project activities and providing direction and corrective actions to ensure that milestones achieve their acceptance criteria on time and within budget
Ensure that robust Management Plans (including PMP and IMS) are created, maintained and applied in accordance with industry best practice
Reviewing and approving risk management process recommendations and ensuring the impact of risks is eliminated or significantly mitigated. Expediting matters as necessary to secure efficient completion of the overall Programme
Ensure contract management and development activities are completed to support the programme (in consultation the Procurement, Finance and Legal)
Managing supplier and sub-contractors capacity and capabilities. Manage technical, cost, schedule and contract baselines. Review performance variances and impacts to overall programme performance.
Effective change management to prevent scope creep and contractual change process is followed
Contribute towards the creation and ongoing maintenance of PMO documentation and overall Integrated Master Schedule and provide material to support the Project work or the Operational Support service.
Owning a variety of activities ensuring compliance with project milestones and customer KPI's and SLA's.
Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to technical challenges.
Project Manager Position Requirements
5+ years experience with Automotive Projects with 2-3 years of this in Project Management or similar (BIW/automation/production line installations)
Ability to engage and work within a multi-functional programme team comprising both customer, supplier and internal staff with an awareness of engineering principles.
Project Manager Position Remuneration
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
