As a DART Lead Nurse,you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, whilst being a support and resource to other staff.
You will be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse teamandmental health teams. There are great opportunities for training and development and the opportunity to work with interesting patients and learn new skills.
If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you!
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
To contribute to the operational management of the DART (Drug Alcohol Recovery Team) Nursing Service. This means ensuring that all administrative and clinical systems are in place to deliver effective, high quality, evidence based treatment and recovery interventions for service users.
To contribute to the workings of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery of specialist substance misuse treatment and recovery interventions for drug and alcohol misusers.
To innovatively support the continuing development of Prison DART Services within national guidelines, through the efficient and effective management of resources at their disposal.
To contribute to development/negotiation of partnership working mechanisms with all key providers within the prison environment and to promote good partnership working relationships in all nurses.
